Chair, Health & Human Services
Bergen County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated

For many years, it has been my honor to serve within the Health and Human Services Facet of the Bergen County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Our chapter’s long-standing commitment to elevating the well-being of our community continues to inspire me, and I am proud to help lead this work alongside dedicated, compassionate, and visionary women.

Last year, our Black K.A.R.E. initiative made a meaningful impact through programs designed to educate, empower, and engage. Our Night of Dance at the Rodda Center in Teaneck brought the community together in celebration of movement, wellness, and joy. It was a beautiful reminder that health can be nurtured in ways that uplift the spirit as much as the body.

We also hosted Kidney Saturday, a cornerstone event that provided free access to screenings, opportunities to speak directly with health professionals, and culturally relevant educational materials. These programs were open to the public at no cost, ensuring that every individual—regardless of background or circumstance—could receive vital information in a trusted, welcoming environment. These moments of connection are at the heart of what we do: meeting people where they are and offering resources that can truly change lives.

As we embark upon our 2026 program year, our commitment remains steadfast. We will continue to innovate, expand our reach, and amplify the message that our health is important. Through Black K.A.R.E. and our broader Health and Human Services initiatives, we will keep creating spaces where our community feels informed, supported, and empowered to take charge of their well-being.

We invite you to stay connected with us throughout the year. We will be posting updates on upcoming activities, events, and resources right here on this page. I encourage you to check back often as we continue to add content that reflects the needs and priorities of our community.

Together, we will keep moving forward—stronger, healthier, and more united than ever.
